Guidelines on how to choose the right images
Attached are some tips for choosing the image that will represent your activity.
We have highlighted/bold the most important ones in our opinion
-
Please ensure you have rights and permissions to post your photo(s).
If you need assistance with blurring faces, we’ll be happy to assist. Indicate this in the relevant section of
the submission form, and we’ll take care of it. -
Show the core of the activity in your photo - let visitors see what the activity actually looks like.
-
Show the core of the activity in the center of the photo, rather than near the edges
-
Choose well-lit photos.
-
Show real people participating in the activity.
-
Avoid blurry, pixelated, or cluttered images.
-
Smiling, relaxed, and joyful expressions perform best.
- Diverse representation helps connect with a wider audience.
-
If your business offers activities in different categories on our site, make sure to upload images relevant to the specific category you’re currently listing.
For example, in the “Birthday Activities” category, choose a photo from an actual birthday event. -
If the business operates at multiple locations, in addition to recommending that this be submitted in separate forms, we also recommend uploading different photos for each location, rather than using one generic image for all of them.
FYI:
If you’d like to replace a photo later, just send us a message with your business name and the details of which images to update — we’ll be happy to help.
